RT launches ‘Gateway to Russia’ in Hindi

RT has launched a Hindi-language version of its Gateway to Russia project, expanding access for audiences in India and Hindi speakers around the world.

The new platform offers content on Russian culture, history, travel, education, and everyday life, along with practical guidance tailored for Hindi-speaking users.

The Hindi version is designed to help users better understand Russia and explore opportunities related to study, travel, and relocation. The site includes information for those interested in learning Russian, pursuing higher education in the country, navigating visa and citizenship procedures, and understanding what it is like to move to and live in Russia.

The launch comes as Russia and India continue to expand people-to-people, educational, and economic ties, with growing interest among Indian students, workers, and tourists in opportunities in Russia.

RT has also encouraged users to follow the Hindi-language Gateway to Russia Telegram channel, (@russiaandindia), which will provide daily updates and additional content for the audience.

The Gateway to Russia project has been developed by RT since 2024 and serves as an informational platform for foreign audiences interested in the country. With the addition of Hindi, the portal is now available in 11 languages: Russian, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, Serbian, Arabic, German, and Hindi.

The Hindi launch marks RT’s latest effort to broaden its outreach in South Asia and make Russian-focused content more accessible to one of the world’s largest language communities.

Last year, RT launched a new India-dedicated channel – RT India. It was inaugurated in-person by Russian President Vladimir Putin during his state visit to the country. Putin hailed the RT India launch as an “important milestone” that will allow millions of Indians to receive information about Russia’s realities today, its perspectives, and its aspirations.
